Full-Stack Engineer Salaries in Bengaluru: What the Market Actually Pays (2026)
Most salary guides are built from self-reported surveys, which skew toward whoever bothers to fill out a form. The numbers below come from roles we've actually closed — offers accepted, not offers extended.
Current bands by seniority
| Level | Annual CTC (INR) |
|---|---|
| Novice (0–1 yrs) | ₹6L – ₹9L |
| Junior (1–3 yrs) | ₹9L – ₹14L |
| Mid (3–6 yrs) | ₹14L – ₹22L |
| Senior (6+ yrs) | ₹22L – ₹35L+ |
These bands assume a React/Node or equivalent full-stack profile at an IT services firm, GCC, or product company. Niche stack requirements (e.g. heavy systems work, specific cloud certifications) can push the upper end higher.
What actually moves a number within a band
A few things matter more than years of experience alone:
- Ownership, not just contribution. Candidates who've owned a feature end-to-end — including the decisions that went wrong — consistently land offers at the top of their band.
- GCC vs. IT services vs. product pay differently for the same nominal seniority, with GCCs typically anchoring highest for equivalent scope.
- Notice period matters more than it should. A 30-day or immediate joiner has real negotiating leverage that a 90-day notice period erodes.
Why this matters if you're hiring
If your offer sits meaningfully below these bands for the seniority you're targeting, expect longer time-to-fill and more declined offers — not because candidates are being unreasonable, but because they're comparing against real competing offers, not a number from three years ago.
If you're a candidate, this is roughly what to expect walking into a conversation — useful context before an offer lands, not just after.
